Was looking at a set of those for my Milan this morning...

Ah, okay. For some reason, it looked like a VR-something based engine.

You live in Germany?

could be that they normally have an engine cover, I think its turning out awesome, only sucks that theres a lot of stuff to cover the now pretty motor

I will have to update on the ride and stuff after I get them in, although after 100,xxx miles stockers anything will be better...

My exact situation. I’m at 102k and I’m sure the shocks are original.
It’s contributing to my do I sell the thing or do all the maintenance it needs dilemma

even from the factory they were worn out.. and it all depends on how much longer you plan on keeping it and the price of them... could always be a good selling point if it rides really smooth

Ooh T/A Firehawk, very nice good sir.

yeah I need to do spark plugs as well (huge process on my stupid sideways V6, involving removal of the intake manifold and new gaskets for that as well) and I think I need new valve cover gaskets too

ouch, its not too bad of a process though just be sure to look up the torque specs and sequences. would rather that than the process on my trans am

yeah its just a pain in the ass and I’m trying to decide if i do it myself or pay someone.
man i hate paying people

If you do it you save a bunch of money and know that you did it right
![]() 02/22/2016 at 16:57 |

which is normally why I do it lol.
The money more than the trust. When I do have something outside of my skill or toolset, I take it to a great place a town over. They’ve been handling stuff for us (again, only when I couldn’t) for over 5 years now. Good people. When you find a good mechanic - you never leave them lol
